The Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002 (FBCSA) will come into force on July 1, 2012. Until that time, the Funeral Directors and Establishments Act will remain in force.

 

While licensees have an obligation to familiarize themselves and adhere to the FBCSA, the Board of Funeral Services (BOFS) is committed to supporting licensees to manage the transition.

 

Our commitment is to provide information presentations that may be viewed on the BOFS website from virtually any computer or handheld device and some outlines of sample documents, such as price lists, contracts, preneed ledger sheets, to name a few.
